From burden sharing to opportunity sharing: putting green growth at the heart of post 2020 climate change regime on the Durban platform

Key messageTo unlock the deadlock of climate change negotiation, we need to put green development at the heart of the post-2020 climate regime, so as to make a strategic adjustment to climate negotiation from zero-sum game of “burden-sharing” to win-win situation of “opportunity-sharing”. This project aims to study how to introduce green growth mechanism into the new climate agreement, which is to be signed in 2015, and takes effect in 2020.
